Thicker, Stronger, Better
- Surface Finishes:
Select NPG white or designer color gelcoats and granicoats.
- Barrier Coat:
Vinyl ester resin layer is highly moisture-resistant; inhibits water contamination when applied with continuous strand, multidirectional fiberglass. Coupled with NPG gelcoat or granicoat surface finishes, it provides the best blister-resistance available.
- Fiberglass/Resin Layer:
Initial layer of continuous strand, multidirectional fiberglass is used for added strength and rigidity.
- Hand-Applied 5005 Stitched Fiberglass Cloth:
56 oz/yd² of biaxial woven and stitched fiberglass cloth with a backing of continuous strand, multidirectional fiberglass. Unique to ALAGLAS, this fiberglass combination enables us to construct the strongest and most rigid pool in the industry.
- Fiberglass/Resin Layer:
Final layer of resin-impregnated, continuous strand, multidirectional fiberglass fully encapsulates the 5005 fiberglass stitched cloth for additional strength, rigidity and finish quality, while helping prevent flexing and twisting distortions to the pool during transport and installation.
